Featured Project: CLEARING - A Magazine for Environmental and Place-based Learning.
Ecoworks Foundation is partnering with CLEARING to create a special spring, 2007 distribution designed to reach additional educators with this excellent resource for environmental learning.
CLEARING is a unique quarterly magazine that serves as the journal of environmental, place-based, natural resources education in the Pacific Northwest and throughout the western US and Canada.
Published since 1978, CLEARING is known around the world as a reliable source of inspiration, teaching ideas, classroom activities, resources, and background information for bringing innovative teaching to all grade levels and subject areas.
Each issue contains:
- Teaching ideas and strategies for the classroom or non-formal setting.
- Perspectives on environmental and place-based education topics from top educators from around the world.
- Resources available to all levels and subject areas.
